Innovative Engineering

CampervanCo’s Eco Camper range is a perfect example of word-class technological innovation. Our ground-breaking Eco Pioneer I gave the world its first Hybrid campervan back in 2016. This world-leader offered automatic four-wheel drive (4WD) with adaptable electric cooking and living in a fully Hybrid vehicle - allowing you to take your campervan places that others don’t dare, while living in style.
We gave the Pioneer I a generous upgrade in 2023, with the Eco Pioneer II. Our R&D team integrated a new high power lithium 230 amp hour (Ah) 12 volt leisure battery which enables you to plugin 240v appliances, like a kettle, toaster or a laptop, and use the inbuilt hobs, refrigerator and climate control without the need for a mains hook-up. It can last a long time with the discreet roof-mounted solar panel.
Like its predecessor, the living space gives you plenty of room, helped by our redesign of the kitchen units from lightweight materials to provide more usable space while improving your fuel efficiency further.
At night, when you’re ready to retire, your sleeping space transforms in seconds to create a custom-upholstered cosy double bed for a comfy night’s sleep in our exclusive Thermo-roll heated bed as an extra.
The all-electric Eco Revolution is what we would call disruptive innovation. This fully electric campervan gives up to 205 miles range plus lithium leisure battery technology, reducing the weight of the bed and the kitchen and using innovative heating technology to minimise power consumption and maximise range.

Innovative products
Aside from the actual innovative engineering behind our campervans, we offer various types of innovation through our custom-built internal products.
Heating: toasty space heaters
As well as the on-board vehicle heating and aircon front and back, you can have an optional space and night heater fitted. These Webasto heaters are thermostatically controlled allowing for low cost and safe heating day or night.
Cooking: superfast induction hob
All our campervans cook using hybrid battery power. This means there is no need for gas or gas appliances – cook instead on a superfast induction hob. The hybrid batteries charge themselves from the low-emissions petrol engine, which means safe, high-induction cooking. Instead of direct heat the induction hob creates an electro-magnetic field that heats the pan, not the hob. And handily, the hob slides out for cooking outdoors by your picnic table or inside when it’s cooler or dark. And for tea lovers, a pint of water can boil in around three minutes.
Heated bed: our Thermo-roll bed warms day or night
Our exclusive, fabulous, heated Thermo-roll bed offers warm sitting or sleeping day or night. This s powered by our super-efficient lithium-ion leisure battery power system that is fed by pure, clean renewable energy. Choose from 375 to 975 solar watt power, that keeps all your appliances and battery full for days and weeks on end. Our Thermo-roll bed sits on tracks allowing you to position it from front to rear to allow for greater boot or front floor space, depending on your needs. The fast-release clips allow it to be removed to create over 4030 litres of storage space! Or push it back and add more seating to carry up to seven people. There’s nothing so practical on the market. Or clean!
Sleep 4 and seat 7: the ultimate all-rounder!
The 100% electric Eco Revolution is for everyday use - cutting emissions to zero, EVERY day. The kitchen, seats and bed are ALL removable giving you unbelievable flexibility. For everyday use, choose from four to seven seats. Push them back or to the front for huge boot or mid-floor space. Remove all rear seats to carry bikes or kayaks while also being able to sleep in the roof. Or take out the kitchen unit as well and use it as a panel van for DIY jobs or moving house. Best of all, slot the Thermo-roll heated bed in and head for the hills with unbeatable freedom to camp and sleep anywhere safe in the knowledge you can cook, sleep or relax anywhere with 100% solar living power.
